This gorgeous private resort and golf community is adorned with airy and spacious interiors with bronzed sculptures adding a sophisticated nod to the local Cancun aesthetic. We absolutely loved our time here! It was the perfect escape.Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is an adults only oasis on the beach in Playa Mujeres. Two notable individuals were Anabelly the hostess and Luis Mesero the server. The serving staff was extremely nice, sanitary, and eager to serve us (and have a job, of course, given the hard times). One other neat thing about this resort is a protected mangrove that has some really neat plants and plenty of iguanas! Mangrove is in between resort entrance/check-in area and the main part of the resort. The beach is very nice and clean, plenty of chairs and beds as you'd expect. One nice perk, is that you can walk or get shuttled via golf cart to their next door neighbor resort, (owned by the same company) and take advantage of their restaurants as well (wonderful Brazilian steakhouse) a couple of large water slides. The restaurants we went to were all very good. Had plenty of room to enjoy around the various parts of the resort. The resort went above and beyond in sanitation and health precautions (CleanComplete verification). It was an ideal situation, being a contrarian - we basically had the place rented out for ourselves. We monitored the local situation, regulations, etc from afar, we actually arrived on the first day they opened after being closed down. My spouse and I booked this getaway after other trips were canceled due to covid.
